This Privacy Policy explains how Above Security, Inc. ("Above", "we") handles personal information collected through the Above Resource Hub at www.above.security (the "Site"). It supplements the privacy information available at above.security.
Information we collect
- Information you provide. When you request a gated resource, we collect your work email and, optionally, your name, company, job title, and marketing-consent choice.
- Usage information. With your consent (via the cookie banner), we use Google Analytics 4 and PostHog to understand how the Site is used. For security and bot protection, our infrastructure processes request metadata such as IP address (used to derive approximate country) and user agent.
- Shared presentations. If you open a presentation shared with you through an Above share link and enter your email to view it, we record that viewing session (PostHog session replay) and associate it — and your contact details — with the email you provide, so the Above team can see how the material was received. This applies only to shared-link (
/s/…) pages.
How we use information
- To deliver the resources you request and respond to your enquiries.
- With your consent, to send you occasional insider-risk research and product news.
- To measure and improve the Site, and to keep it secure.
Legal bases (EEA/UK)
We rely on your consent for marketing communications, and on ourlegitimate interests for delivering a resource you requested, securing the Site, and producing aggregate analytics.
Sharing
We share information with service providers who process it on our behalf, including our CRM (HubSpot), our analytics providers (Google Analytics and PostHog), and our hosting and bot-protection provider (Cloudflare). We do not sell your personal information.
Retention
We keep lead information for as long as needed for the purposes above, and retain identified activity logs for a limited period before deletion or anonymisation.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us via above.security.
